CreeQ5:
“I have one, and I love it. It's a great little upgrade. I also have the Malkoff M60 drop-in, and I compared them side-by-side in identical 6PD's running AW 17670's. The BOG is brighter and whiter, substantially. It's also heavier, due to the brass sink, so it probably handles heat better, but I haven't done any long run-time testing.(Source: CPF)
I'm currently running the BOG in a stretched 6PD, with 3 CL123A's, and it handles the extra voltage just fine.” (Source:cpf)
“The BOG definitly beats the Malkoff dropin in brightness”(Source: CPF)
“The Malkoff looked just as good as the BOG only the hotspot was brigter on the BOG”(Source: CPF)

"Anyone looking for an LED upgrade for their Surefire 6P or G2 should be very satisfied with this module. Very bright and very white. Good spot with no noticible artifacts. Customer service seems very good if you should have any problems."(Source: CPF)
"Just finished my nightly walk with my 6P and BOG Q5 and am very satisfied. Whiter & brighter & outhrows my Malkoff Q2, WE & DX Cree dropins by a large margin. My sample doesn't have a tight hotspot, but rather a large very bright beam with good spill. Great for illuminating large areas for coyotes, etc"(Source: CPF)
"Just received the BOG Q5 and compared it to the Malkoff Q4 and the Bog is brighter, noticeably so. Throw seems to reach about 10-15 yards further and the light is brighter."
